Public Art

Artists Russell Way and Helene Rosanove have been independently scaling up their artwork since 1984. In 2000, the Sydney Olympic Games marked the beginning of a professional engagement in public art.

By applying their experience as contemporary artists, Rosanove and Way intend to transform urban environments into landmarks of positive affirmation for the express contemplation of ideas and conversation.

Five years young, Rosanove and Way’s Art Tank is an award winning business for work with Community Art Projects on the Central Coast of NSW.

In 2015 they collaborated and successfully brought to life their winning concept “Namingwall” using text to cover an area of 900 square metres. This unique artwork was commissioned by State Government (RMS) and can be seen at the Woy Woy Pedestrian Underpass 24/7.

Rosanove and Way are passionate about their process of public consultation and believe it is integral to community forming a relationship with their artwork.
